This week marks 40 years since the passing of "The King of Rock and Roll," Elvis Presley.  Elvis passed away on August 16, 1977, on the eve oh him embarking on a tour.  Elvis was one of the innovators of the then new musical style dubbed "Rock and Roll," mixing Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Country influences into a new genre.  This week, we'll listen to some of the musical influences of Elvis, as well as some of the artists who were inspired by him.

The first set was inspired by the events that occurred last week in Charlottsville, VA. at a "Alt-right" rally.  It's time to stop the hate.
