This week marks the release of The Decemberists' new album, "What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World," their first full-length studio collection since 2011's "The King is Dead."  The first hour features songs from their new album, and some of my favorites from their back catalogue.  The majority of the rest of the show is live music, in honor of the Grateful Dead, who not only are celebrating heir 50th year as a band, but have also announced plans for a farewell run of concerts in July at Soldier's Field in Chicago.  It's been a great run, guys....fare the well.
