PROGRAM NOTES:
This month in 1965, The Beatles released the "Help!" album.  Released on August 6, a month after their second theatrical release, the UK version contained tracks which had been previously released on various albums stateside.  The US version, released on August 13th, however, had a different track listing and was more of a proper "soundtrack" album to the film.  This week, enjoy 13 tracks from the UK Mono version (the show began with the US version of "Help!" with an instrumental introduction,) along with cover version of the songs from the album.
