PROGRAM NOTES:
The first part of the show was a tribute to the late Ray Manzarek, keyboardist for The Doors, who had passed away earlier in the week at age 74. The second part of the show was a set for Memorial Day- based around war, peace and freedom. Side 2@2 was chosen mainly due to the title "Armed Forces" in reference to Memorial Day. The final part of the show was a drums and rhythm-based segue into "Oh Boy! 3AM"- which began with Mickey Hart's soundtrack to "Apocalypse Now."
