PROGRAM NOTES:
I had planned this week's show long before I had heard about the attack on the Bastile Day festivities in Nice, France. Rather than shelve the planned show, I decided to go ahead with it as planned, bur frame it as a tribute to those who lost their lives in this horrific act of violence. This show wasn't intended to make light of such a terrible event.
