PROGRAM NOTES:
This week, we mourn the passing of Glen Campbell, the country music star, and session guitarist known for his work on many recordings with the infamous "Wrecking Crew." Glen passed away this week at 81 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Also, a couple of weeks ago was Jerry Garcia's 75th birthday, and the anniversary of his death on August 9 was this week. I played selections for Warren Haynes' "Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration" from 2016.
