PROGRAM NOTES:
This week's show interweaves a variety of themes- First, we mark the untimely death of rocker Tom Petty, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 66 on Monday.  Tom's music was always the backdrop of our generation, no matter what the event, there always seemed to be a Petty song providing the soundtrack in the '80's and '90's.  Second, we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of Peter Gabriel's "Us" album.  Those 2 themes are interspersed with some mellower tunes for a soundtrack for an Autumn evening.
