PROGRAM NOTES:

Wow- there is a LOT going on this week!  First off, it's a Harvest Moon this week, so the first set consists of all songs about moons- starting off with the obvious selection by Uncle Neil!

This week, we celebrate several debut albums, starting off with Talking Heads:77, which was released this week in 1977.  Next, we take a listen to Jeff Beck's "Truth," starting with the evolution from his playing with The Yardbirds, his debut album, and the influence on the "hard rock" genre.

On "Side 2@2," we listen to Led Zeppelin's 1969 eponymous debut album, which was a nice segue out of the Jeff Beck segment.  Finally, we conclude tonight's show by revisiting The Velvet Underground & Nico, their 1967 debut.
